Handmade Soap Care

What can you do to make your handmade soap last longer? How should soap be stored and used to extend it's life? Tips are below:

  • Don't let your soap drown in water, sitting in water will melt it.
  • Keep soap dry when not in use. The drier you keep it, the longer it will last.
  • Store your soap in a well drained soap dish.
  • Use a wash cloth or loofah to extend its life rather than rubbing the bar all over yourself.
  • Use your handmade soap within six months to a year of purchase. It's natural and made without preservatives. It will still work after a year, but the scent will fade over time.
  • Store unused soap in a dark, dry, room temperature place like a clothes drawer or linen closet.  Excessive heat, light, and moisture are a natrual soap worst enemy.
  • DO NOT EAT
  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.
  • FOR EXTERNAL BODY USE ONLY.
  • AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES. If contact occurs, flush with water.
