What can you do to make your handmade soap last longer? How should soap be stored and used to extend it's life? Tips are below:
Don't let your soap drown in water, sitting in water will melt it.
Keep soap dry when not in use. The drier you keep it, the longer it will last.
Store your soap in a well drained soap dish.
Use a wash cloth or loofah to extend its life rather than rubbing the bar all over yourself.
Use your handmade soap within six months to a year of purchase. It's natural and made without preservatives. It will still work after a year, but the scent will fade over time.
Store unused soap in a dark, dry, room temperature place like a clothes drawer or linen closet. Excessive heat, light, and moisture are a natrual soap worst enemy.
DO NOT EAT
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.
FOR EXTERNAL BODY USE ONLY.
AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES. If contact occurs, flush with water.
